I am a 2nd year Law Student and I aim to host events that will help educate our members about the many varied and interesting career opportunities that studying law opens up. My current interest lies with the governmental and corporate regulation of global supply chains. This ties strongly with women’s rights as many victims of unregulated factory production are female workers.
I am currently a Second Year Law LLB student. Women in Law aims to educate our peers through offering events held at Bristol University with speakers from various firms, informing us about their current life in the legal sector and tips for entering it. I am intrigued by family law and hope to pursue that in greater detail in my degree.
I am a French second year law student passionate about Equality Rights Law, including (but not limited to) Gender, LGBTQ+, Race and Disability justice, as well as its interdependence with the economy. I am approachable and always here to help! My dream is to one day work in the US as a demi academic, demi practitioner, while keeping time for my hobbies: arts & crafts, hiking, theatre and going to musicals.
I’m the society’s general secretary and I am here to maintain all social media platforms, correspond to your emails, track committee goals, and to generally just keep the society organised. At the moment I’m not sure which area of law interests me the most so I’m taking this year’s optional modules as a chance to explore more.
I am in my fourth year as I took a year abroad last year in Colombia. I have previously been Social Secretary for the Law Club and love organising events. I am interested in commercial law and especially interested in law that has an international application. In my free time I like to paint and dance.
Pro Bono and Charity Officer
I’m a 2nd year Law student, and the Charity and Pro Bono Officer. I will be organising and heading the year’s fundraising events, fundraising for Refugee Women of Bristol and Missing Link. I am interested in working with people, and am still exploring career options. This year, I’m excited to study family, crime justice and society, and international law.
